INCOSE Denmark (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy covers what personal data the website incose.dk collects, why, how long we keep it, and your rights.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is INCOSE Denmark c/o Henrik Balslev, Østerbrogade 56A, 2100 København Ø (CVR-nr. DK35189351). For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, email info@incose.dk.
What we collect and why
We collect only data you give us:
- Newsletter. Your first name, last name and email to send you our newsletter. Basis: consent (confirmed by double opt-in). Unsubscribe any time via the link in any newsletter.
- Event bookings. Your name, email, membership status, and invoice details for paid events. Event fees are paid by invoice; we take no card payments online and store no card details. Basis: performance of your booking, plus our legal duty to keep accounts.
- Contact messages. Your email and message so we can reply. Basis: legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- Embedded content. Some pages (such as the newsletter “Past issues” list) show content embedded from Mailchimp, which may collect data about you under its own privacy policy.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We share it only with the providers that run the site for us:
- Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.): newsletter delivery.
- one.com: website hosting (EU servers).
Mailchimp is based in the USA; that transfer relies on its standard safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU/US Data Privacy Framework). one.com hosts on EU servers.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and does not profile visitors. The only cookies are strictly necessary, set when logging in to the WordPress account used to manage the website (visitors never get these cookies). Because we use only essential cookies, we show no cookie-consent banner, and none is required. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, though blocking them may stop login from working.
How long we keep your data
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Bookings, payment and accounting records: kept for the period required by Danish bookkeeping law (currently 5 years).
- Contact messages: only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may access, correct, delete, restrict or object to your data, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To do so, email info@incose.dk.
If you think we mishandle your data, you may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).
Security
The site runs over encrypted HTTPS on a managed, regularly updated platform, and admin access is limited to a few trusted board members. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will, where required, notify affected individuals and Datatilsynet within 72 hours, as the GDPR requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. This version was last updated on 2026-06-30.
